Welcome back to the Leverett Music room 2018! -Just friendly reminder that on the Music Room blog, there is now a place for all curious parents, students and friends to take a glance at the current national standards that are currently used to guide the students in the Leverett Elementary music curriculum.

Although you may notice that these National Standards are 4 years old, they are the most current nationally referenced and recommended by Nafme,(National Association for Music Educators.) These standards provide the most up to date recommendations for content including the areas of music technology and world music studies for the students. So please feel free to read and find out what some of our new challenges in the music classroom look like!
