Distance Music Learning for Week of Monday, April 27, 2020

Welcome back to the Music Room friends! This week I will be trying to get into everyone’s classes in the hopes to see everyone – I miss all of you and making music together in our classroom.  Here is a quick video of my friend “B.B.” (Band Bunny). You may remember what instrument he is playing, – but do you know the song? Do you know which family of instruments he is in (choose from Percussion, Woodwind, Brass or String from the pictures above!

For my PreK and K Friends,

Continue working on the Music Bingo Card – Cross off each box that you are able to complete this week and see if you can create a Bingo! See how many you can do and feel free to email pictures of your creations or your Bingo Card to renauld@leverettschool.org. (Parents the idea behind this card is to let your child have a self directed learning experience this week to explore different creative options – so I’m not including a time expectation. Just enjoy and have fun!)

For My Third through Sixth Graders

Last week I invited you to watch the video in the links “Old Town Road song version of the Treble and Bass Clefs.” Then, go to the Classical Kids Note Naming link in the 3-6 links. Hopefully that was entertaining and challenging. This week I’m inviting you to explore the Musical Mystery:

It will challenge you to use your note naming knowledge in a fun and different way! As always friends – Please let me know if you have difficulty with any links or technology, or if there is more of something you’d like to try during this week. You can contact me at renauld@leverettschool.org – have fun!
